Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical project manager that has experience in coordinating data projects. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.

Objectives of this Role:

• Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
• Good experience in writing SOW(Statement of Work)
• Work with the team for the estimates and present it to client
• Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
• Help in the development and implementation of agile projects
• Assist in team development by removing roadblocks to their work, mentoring them and making a good utilization of organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
• Promote empowerment of the team by ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project with meaningful contribution
• Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
• Developing a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery
• Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary to ensure quality service delivery
• Providing accurate and regular reports to the stakeholders on the performance of the service delivery
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies like – Sprint Grooming, Planning, and Retrospectives
• Define best practices, code review processes for the team to follow
• Identify productivity and quality process improvements and incorporate as needed
• Guide the team in requirement closures, design, development, and verification and validation tasks
• Proactively identify risks & dependencies and develop mitigation plans
• Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years project management experience out of which minimum 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum
• 1+ years in managing Database projects
• Good to have certification in Scrum like CSM – Certified Scrum master
• Good experience in executing Fixed bid and T & M projects
• Experience in coordination between cross-functional and cross-practice teams including conflict resolution
• Experience in taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
• In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery
• Expertise in people management and leadership
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong teamwork skills and attention to details
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification like PMP
• Previous success in producing deliverable software platforms
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.
