Jim has extensive Business Development and Sales experience and is a key member of the Vertex Sales Team spearheading the sales of Salesforce.com Services by leveraging his three Technical Certifications.

Jim has over 15 years of CRM experience in Siebel, SAP, and SalesForce.com with Salesforce.com Systems Administrator, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud Consultant Certifications.

He held positions at Siebel Systems, SAP America, IBM, and Salesforce.com before joining Vertex.

Life away from Work: 

Jim is a Grade 6 USSF Soccer Referee and that takes much of his weekend time from March through November. He has been doing it for 17 years and he focuses on competitive Club games, Semi-Professional games, State Cup games and Olympic Development Program (ODP) games to name a few. According to Jim, it's a great escape from phone calls, emails, and contract negotiations while requiring constant, high-speed decision making for ninety minutes each game.


Jim has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and was a Bell Honor Student Recipient. He also has an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA with a Marketing & Finance concentration from Northern Illinois University.
