Role Overview:

The Data & Analytics Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end data analytics initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role spans the entire project lifecycle—from planning and requirements gathering to execution, delivery, and adoption—while ensuring alignment with business objectives, technology standards, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle data analytics projects, including discovery, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-delivery support.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful, on-time, and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, BI developers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Drive adoption of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies depending on project requirements.
• Ensure strong data quality management, governance, security, and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric components such as OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI.
• Maintain clear documentation including project plans, risk logs, roadmaps, and communication plans.
• Provide consistent project updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct requirement workshops, facilitate alignment discussions, and manage change requests effectively.
• Identify project issues proactively, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate when needed.
• Support user adoption by coordinating UAT, training plans, and go-live activities.
• Partner with architecture teams to ensure alignment with data platform strategy and scalable solution design.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing data analytics, BI, or data platform projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics workflows, and modern data platforms.
• Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI) is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, metadata management, and security compliance.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certifications.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other Agile-related certifications.
• Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or Data Analytics certifications.
• Any relevant cloud or data platform certification (Azure preferred).
