Job Summary:

The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, developing technical solutions, and ensuring the successful deployment and adoption of Salesforce technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Lead the design and architecture of scalable and robust Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Develop technical roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and design specifications.
  • Ensure solutions are built using best practices and adhere to Salesforce guidelines and standards.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders.

3. Implementation and Development:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of custom Salesforce applications, integrations, and workflows.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Lead and participate in the development of custom objects, triggers, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.

4. Integration and Data Management:

  • Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Oversee data migration, data quality, and data governance initiatives within Salesforce.

5. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Conduct regular system audits and prepare for Salesforce releases.

6. Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and other team members.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
  • Strong background in Salesforce integrations with third-party systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, and version control systems.

Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II.
  • Other relevant Salesforce certifications are a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of other CRM platforms and integration technologies.
  • Experience in leading large-scale Salesforce implementations.
